Welcome to my Website!
My full name is Tyler Samuel Ruffin. I am kind of insecure about my middle name because everyone ends up calling Samuel which gets annoying, so I don't tell many people. I currently go to Cypress High School, as a sophmore. My favorite subject is P.E. because I like being outside in the morning and that's where I see my friends for the longest throughout each day. It is a pretty laid back class so it doesn't stress me out like the other classes. Here's how you make a link: Neocities.

Interesting Facts About Me
My dad's side of the family is Black and only Black. If there was a family tree from my dad's side of the family there would only be African people. My mom's is very diverse. Mainly Mexican, but also have White, Native, and German. I like to play videogames, watch youtube, and watch TV, but mainly videogames. One of my favorite youtubers is called Dellor. He is a highlighted youtuber to me because he rages a lot and doesn't realize that he is super funny when he is frustrated with the videogames that he plays because of his internet. Those are the kind of videos I depend on to get me through the day.
My 5 Movie Reviews

I liked the movie Blackk Panther because it was a movie where even the bad guy had a good reasoning for his actions. Him trying to overthrow the king,T'Challa, was a little extreme but Erik Killomonger, the bad guy, believed the the world needed change so he trained himself his whole life doing his best to make it happen and you can do nothing but respect that kind of character. Plus, he had some dope dreads.

Happy Gilmore is one of my favorite movies of all time. It has one of the best actors of this generation, who is still in movies to this day, Adam Sandler. In this film, Happy is a very bad hockey player with terrible anger issues. Gilmore's mother left the family because since her husband was so wrapped up in hockey, he refused to listen to her, instead he chose to listen to the TV. This left the family with just Happy and his father. Happy was influenced by his dad and went to his first hockey game but his father died when he was hit in the face with a puck. Since he was abandoned, Gilmore went to live with his grandma who supported him and loved him. Unfortunately, as Happy was still growing up, his grandmother ran out of money so she was kicked out of her house until she could pay $300,000. Happy didn't really have a job to support his grandma so he was forced to put her in an old folks' home. Happy went to a golfing rink place. A former professional golfer saw Happy hitting 400 yards and so he decided he would take him under his wing. Gilmore saw this as something ridiculous, men in goofyh pants, hitting some balls. But Chubbs, the former player, convinced him that he was prime to make the big bucks. So he accepted and attempted to save his grandma's house.

Love, Simon is about this teenager, who has a simple, normal, life. He has a sister, he has a mom, a dad, and three very loyal friends. He has a very big secret, he is gay. He does his best to keep the word from getting out. I really like this film because it teaches people a whole lot about acceptance and love. His insecurites about this fact jeapordizes all of his relationships.

I grew up with a film that is a favorite of mine, Shrek. Shrek is about this ogre who lives by himself, very introverted. After his swamp, where he lives, has been invaded by fairytale creatures, he goes to where they say they came from, Lord Farquad, and on Shrek's side at all times is Donkey, which is a donkey, who gives respect to Shrek for not caring what others think and not being scared because it was all Donkey knew before he met his new bestfriend. Lord Farquad requests one thing if he wants his swamp back to the way it was, rescue a princess so this prince can be a king. That's exactly what Shrek and Donkey go out to do. But on the way back, Shrek and Princess Fiona begin to have feelings for each other as they try their best to exclude donkey and form an even stronger bond.

The movie, The Hate U Give, is a very touching drama genred movie as 16 year old, Starr Carter, is going through a difficult time with all of her relationships, while her bestfriend, first kiss, and first crush, Khalil, was shot by a policeman as he was reaching for a hairbrush, thinking that it was a gun. Starr tried to take a video of it for legal purposes but the cop told her to turn it off so she did. She has to keep her mouth shut about some of the situation because only she knew what he was doing out in the streets, most-likely selling for the biggest drug dealer, King. Starr's father used to be one of his best friends back in the day but that doesn't hold King back from giving a warning, telling her to keep his name out of the police's mouths'. She either mentioned his name for Khalil or she kept her mouth shut about the whole thing. She told very few people. Only her family knew that she was a witness. They discouraged Starr to not speak for Khalil because they knew what the outcome could be. What was holding her back was she went to a very white people-type rich school and if they all saw her on the news speaking for someone that she knew that was shot in the hood, they would look at her differently, plus the threats from a dangerous man.
